Today we spent all day at the Life of Wealth Orphanage. This orphanage has about 65 children, most of them are girls. In the morning when we got there, we watched the girls doing double-dutch jump rope and doing each other's hair. But a little while later, we were the ones getting our hair braided and playing with them. While the girls were getting their hair done, they boys were playing soccer with the few boys that are at the orphanage. Even though none of us can speak Creole, we still had a great time playing games with them. After everyone was all worn out from playing in the heat, we all joined inside to watch the movie Frozen in French with English subtitles.  After the movie we talked to the girls about self-worth and how God's love for us is eternal and that our trust should be in Him. All of the kids participated in cutting paper snowflakes after the movie and decorating them with crayons.  Throughout our time there we were also singing many worship songs with the kids, while Josh led with his guitar.

Another one of the highlights of today for us and many of the Haitian people was the Brazil vs Colombia game this afternoon after we had returned from the orphanage.  After Brazil scored we could hear the entire town explode with cheering, shouting and running through the streets, as most of the Haitians are a Brazil fan or an Argentina fan.

Thank you all for your prayers!! We can see God's love everywhere here and are learning many things everyday! One prayer request that we have is that Sam has not been feeling well today, and we hope that she will feel well enough to go with us to our ministries tomorrow. (She still participated in all ministry so don't worry Sam's family!)
