Sunday in Haiti!

Sitting in a strangers tent today, while it poured down rain, praying for a young pregnant woman on the top of a mountain, is the last thing I expected when deciding to go to Haiti… but the past few days have been anything but expected (in an AWESOME way). The countries beauty landscape wise and the beauty of the people have opened my eyes and the eyes of my group as we have been engrossed in the culture, building relationships while being blessed beyond belief in a way that we have never felt before.
This morning we had the unique opportunity to attend a Haitian church service which lasted four hours! In the beginning of the church service, members of our team with Josh leading, taught the church two songs we have been practicing in Creole. The members of the church were so into the worship, it was unbelievable! Then, a visiting group of boys rapped, sang, danced, you name it (in Creole) about Jesus…while the congregation responded by screaming, dancing, singing. The message delivered by the visiting American was very interesting and thought provoking. You’ll have to inquire more from someone who is on the trip. We are excited for the next few days! The Lord is SO good and we are excited to see where he leads us.
Prayers that our team can continue to bless and be a blessing to the community! Praise that everyone is healthy 
