An awesome first day here in beautiful Haiti!We went to James's church to worship and it was right on the beach! What a lively service, with dancing, shouting, and joyful praise. We had Haitians to translate the message, which was about running a business in Haiti - advising people to be honest, even though this is not always modeled for them in this country. A very special moment was singing "Here I am to Worship" in English while the congregation sang it in Creole, with Donald's Nigerian voice adding special effects to my right. One woman invited Christ into her life as a chicken pecked it way through the tent and goats wandered by. We drove back to the base, Haitian style - 10 people packed in the Montero, to meet my Haitian son Henry! Can't wait to see what God has in store this week!
