One of the few photos we have- wrapping EACH doll separately! :) |
This blog was formed so Hearts United with Haiti could post frequent updates either from Haiti or from the USA. It is our prayer that this will help people around the globe to know what the current needs and happenings are within the ministry, how God is using the visiting teams, and how He is leading and directing us as we seek to follow Him in Haiti. Enjoy!

Day 2
Only one photo from day 2 but we were SO BUSY (and my camera was used for photos of the new girls- there are 21) that I don't have photos. All the group went to the orphanage all day- some did medical care/exams, some bios on the new orphans (and photos), some played with the children, some shopped for birthday presents (we got them each a barbie with extra clothes- the four little boys got matchbox cars) and some did Bible lesson/skit/games with them. BUSY day cause after we all got home for dinner we still wrapped and bagged up over 75 gifts for them- each gets a gift bag with a new dress and then a barbie and a little gift bag of misc. treats, etc... Redgi bought the food so the celebration today and meal should be really special (day 3). We are planning today to be a FUN celebration day with games, "stations", etc.. and will report more later. It's been a SUPER busy week with us moving from about 6-7 am. until about 10 pm. with very little "down time"...... much moreso than most of our trips, but this one has a lot of planning for all these things to happen for the orphans. God bless you for your prayers and for your encouragement- it helps more than you know! (PS- pray for this laptop- it's giving us trouble. Time for a new one but we are praying it makes it through the summer- thanks!) -Crystal
