more photos

Here are some photos from Jan 6th- (My husband's birthday by the way- Happy Birthday Honey- I love and miss you!).....

Astreede with Berry!  (Dr. Becca- Berry kept asking for you but Astreede sat and gave her enough love/hugs to last a while)

group shot with the orphans

Renee with some of the children... (she got a note from Josephine- the one in the white on the far left)

Mike and Kelsey by the ocean before testing potential English students  :)

James is taking the job of director of the training and discipleship center  VERY seriously.  I am proud of him

We taught the children a lesson about how Jesus washes away our sins and then we wrote a sin or something we struggle with on strips of cloth.  We "washed away" the words in a basin of water and then tied the strip on our wrist to remind us that we have given it to Jesus and no longer have to live as we have in the past.  A powerful New Year's lesson!

Skyler with a buddy - Widline Pierre!

  1. It looks like you guys had an awesome day at the orphanage with the kids at life is wealth. I hope the English class went well, all of the participants seemed beyond excited to expand their vocabulary! I hope that the craft and lesson went well, I had never heard of the idea yesterday but seeing you York girls plan the lesson yesterday morning was awesome. Love and miss you all! We are back home safe and sound and preparing for our tests and moving back into school. The weather is in the negative digits (very drastic change from yesterday in Haiti). Enjoy your last day there, I am already ready to come back. Love you All Jaclyn

  2. Love the pictures...adjusting back home. The weather is insanely cold but forecast is calling for temperatures to rise by the weeks end. Enjoy the warmth and fellowship. Love, Kim Phelps

  3. Hope you guys all had a great day! Miss you all dearly. It's weird here with absolutely no ludacris or ill wayne to sing me to sleep at an excessive decibel level. And no rooster is waking me up. Enjoy it :) I hope you all sleep well tonight and safe travels tomorrow!
    Love Gwen

  4. Skyler-you still look the same, only maybe a little happier than usual! Beautiful as always, so I guess Haiti was good to you. We're so glad your desire was to be used by the Lord, together with the rest of the team. We can't wait to see you and your pictures, and hear all about it
