CHRISTMAS/GIVING IDEAS

This time of year I always get phone calls and/or e-mails asking about our ministry needs because people want to make a donation. Sometimes it is in honor of a family member (instead of a gift: "I gave $*** to Hearts United with Haiti instead of buying you something you already have or don't need"). Sometimes it is because people are looking for an end-of-year tax deduction (yes, Hearts United is a 501c3 registered with the IRS so your donations are tax deductible- receipts are given for amounts over $250 but if you keep records you can deduct any amount you donate). Sometimes it is just because at this time of year we are all a little more focused on needs around the world and at home- others who may not have as much as we do. 

Whatever the reason, here are some of the needs of the ministry along with photos showing some of the ministry we do. We certainly can't show them all but hope this gives you an idea of how God uses us in Haiti. If nothing else, would you consider praying with us about these needs and ministries?
